2024 litters update. April 2024
Ok, going to give a little update on puppies. Mable, who is Penny’s granddaughter, turned 2 years old in November. This when they are old enough to complete all health testing to be approved to breed. She already had her genetic screening and is clear for those diseases. Today she and Journey went and had their eyes dilated and tested by an ophthalmologist. They both tested clear for everything with certified normal eyes.
Next, in June, I will have Mable’s hips x-rayed for certification and her patellas examined for certification.
Then, assuming she passes all testing, she will be ready to find a stud!
Mable goes into heat in February and August which puts puppies going to homes in December or June. I try not to breed litters during holidays, it’s difficult. So unless I have a wait list of at least 4 people committing to taking home a puppy in December we will most likely wait for her next spring cycle.
Journey still has another year, she’s only 1 year old.

Puppies born October 4, 2019 between Trixie and Ebony. We have 7 babies, 3 girls, 4 boys. These puppies will mature around 15-20lbs and 15 or so inches tall, larger minis. I have chosen to leave natural tails and dewclaws on this litter true to their European heritage and for the integrity of the limbs.
